Ethical Principles
How we operate and decide
At clover®, ethical conduct is fundamental to how we operate, make decisions, and build long-term relationships. Our ethical principles define the standards expected from our employees, partners, and stakeholders across all business activities.
They apply equally on the plant floor, in commercial negotiations, and in how we handle data, conflicts of interest, and community impact.
Integrity & fair competition
Integrity & Compliance — We conduct all operations with honesty, transparency, and full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and international standards. Ethical behaviour is non-negotiable and applies equally at every level of the organisation.
Fair Business Practices — We engage in fair competition and strictly reject all forms of corruption, bribery, and improper advantage. Business decisions are made objectively, based on merit, quality, and long-term value creation.
Principle
Respect for People
A respectful, inclusive, and safe working environment. Discrimination, harassment, or unethical conduct toward employees, partners, or third parties is not tolerated.
Principle
Confidentiality
We protect confidential information belonging to our company, customers, partners, and employees — handled responsibly under applicable data protection and information security rules.
Principle
Conflict of Interest
Employees and representatives avoid situations where personal interests conflict with clover®. Potential conflicts are disclosed and managed transparently.
Environment, society & reporting
Environmental & Social Responsibility — We recognise our responsibility toward the environment and society. Operations are carried out with consideration for environmental protection, workplace safety, and social responsibility.
Accountability & Reporting — We encourage open communication and responsible reporting of ethical concerns. Suspected violations can be raised without fear of retaliation and will be handled objectively and confidentially.
Continuous improvement
Commitment to Continuous Improvement — Ethical conduct is an ongoing responsibility. We regularly review and improve our policies, practices, and procedures to ensure alignment with evolving regulations, industry standards, and stakeholder expectations.
Ethics is not a one-time certification — it is how we respond when standards, markets, and expectations change.
Ethics across our value chains
From fibre lines and yarn production to energy offtake and mineral supply, clover® expects the same ethical baseline: no shortcuts on safety, no tolerance for corruption, and no compromise on how we treat people or data.
Partners and suppliers are selected and monitored with these principles in mind. Where expectations are not met, we act — because our reputation is built on conduct, not only on capacity.
Ethical conduct is everyone's responsibility.
clover® invites employees, partners, and stakeholders to uphold these principles — and to speak up when something falls short.
